Schengen Visa

You must apply through the embassy of the country where you will spend the most days. If your stay is equal in multiple countries, you must apply to the country of first entry.

Visa applications in India are processed through VFS Global centers. Tourister Plan assists you in securing your appointment, collecting required documents, and preparing for the biometrics process.

Our experts at Tourister Plan will assist you in preparing the complete documentation:

• Completed visa application form
• Valid passport (minimum 3 months validity beyond travel date)
• Passport-size photos as per Schengen specifications
• Detailed cover letter explaining travel purpose & itinerary
• Round-trip flight bookings
• Hotel reservations or accommodation proof
• Travel insurance with a minimum coverage of €30,000 across all Schengen countries
• Bank statements (3–6 months), ITR, salary slips, or sponsorship proof
• Employment / student ID / retirement proof
• Civil status documents (marriage certificate, birth certificate etc., if required)

Visa Fees:

Adults: €90 (approx. ₹8,000 – ₹9,000)

Children (6–12 years): €45

Children under 6 years: Free

VFS service charges apply separately.

At the VFS center, applicants will:

• Submit all documents
• Provide fingerprints and a live photograph (biometrics)
• Receive a tracking ID to check visa application status

Standard processing takes 15 working days. During high travel seasons, it may take up to 45 days.

Tourister Plan recommends applying at least 3–4 weeks in advance to avoid last-minute delays.

Approved: You will receive your passport with the Schengen visa sticker.

Refused: You will receive an official letter stating reasons for rejection. Appeals are possible depending on the consulate.
